Birth Of Gods | Description Of Gods
There are many india gods. Many gods have varied aspects, respectively incarnations. I will start with the threefold the
"Trimurti". The Trimurti is known as Vishnu, Brahma and Shiva. Where Vishnu comes from I couldn't clarify, but I will try to write down the genesis as I understand it. This is what I found out: Vishnu is the universal god. From him came all the other gods. He has nine different incarnations. The seventh is Brahma another is Shiva. Brahma and Shiva have their own incarnations too. Another important incarnation is Krishna (the eighth). Vishnu is married with Lakshmi, a aspect of Lakshmi is Sita. Vishnus aspect Shiva was married with Parvati she gave birth to the gods Ganesha and Kartikeja. The aspects of Parvati are Durga and Uma. The father of Uma is Himavats. One aspect of Durga is Kali. Brahma is married with Saraswati, a possible aspect of Brahma is Prajapati. Brahma is the father of gods and humans. He is also the father of Daksha and Kamadeva. Daksha is the father of the Diti, Aditi, Vinata and Kadru. Diti is married with Kashapa and mother of the Daityas (Dämonen). Aditi is mother of the Adityas, they are: Indra, Arjaman, Agni, Surya, Savitar, Martanda, Mitra, Varuna. Kashjapa is the god of heaven and father of Indra. Indra is the leader of the Devas (younger god race) and married with Salchi. There are many other gods, goddesses and deamons and their incarnation but that would overload my page. To mention are here Hanuman and Indrajit, because of their appearance in the TV Show XWP. Indrajit is the son of Ravanas, a deamon sovereign from Lankas and Hanuman is an ape god, general of Ramas, another incarantion of Vishnu. Together they battled against the deamons to free Sita, the wife of Rama. |
